Outpatient Psychotherapist, LCSW, LPC or LMFT

Supervisor: Director of Mynd Works 

Job Summary:  Our ideal candidate would have experience with providing clinical services to various age ranges and populations. They would also bring their compassion, interests, and unique style into our flexible and progressive therapeutic environment. Active Pennsylvania licensure of either LCSW, LPC or LMFT in good standing required. 

Pay range: $45,000- $60,000

Position Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania licensure of LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in good standing 
  • 3 years of work experience in a social services/mental health setting 
  • Active FBI/State Police/child abuse clearances 
  • Ability to keep electronic records and navigate virtual therapy applications 
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently 
  • Proficient with Windows, Outlook, internet research, MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • The employee may be asked to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically stated in this description. The duties and responsibilities of the position are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with the mission, values, and operating principles of Jewish Family Service. 

Primary Functions:

  • Provide outpatient therapy services to clients as assigned by the Director of Mynd Works and/or Intake Coordinator and in accordance with credentialing by referral agencies, or with approval of Director of Mynd Works for private pay individuals. Services include assessment, development of treatment plan and safety plan, provision of direct therapeutic services, discharge planning, and aftercare planning. 
  • Provide accurate documentation related to all assigned cases in a timely and well-written manner in accordance with agency policies defining documents due at specific intervals. Will include completion of assessment documents at intake and/or discharge, and documentation of collateral contacts. 
  • Coordinate community-based resources and referrals as identified within treatment planning and during provision of therapeutic services. 
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and/or peer supervision group. Participate in quarterly PQI Peer clinical reviews as required by Director of Mynd Works. Participate in at least one hour of individual supervision with a supervisor or person designated by the Program Director for every eighty (80) hours of work. 
  • Remain on-call on evenings and weekends on a rotation basis as assigned by the Director of Mynd Works and/or Director of Family Based. 
  • Maintain professional license by meeting all requirements of the state licensing board, including continuing education. Maintain credentialing by all applicable insurance companies. 
  • Responsible for all other tasks and duties as assigned and necessary. 
  • Report to the Director of Mynd Works or another staff as assigned by the Executive Director
