Jewish Family Service is pleased to announce that we have begun a renovation project to improve our facilities, further empowering us to serve our clients and community. The renovation project began March 12th and will continue through the end of April. We will be open for business during this time, but please excuse our appearance as we work to better our surroundings.
This project was made possible through a grant from the Dauphin County Gaming Advisory Board and by a generous donation from the Lois Lehrman Grass Foundation. The renovation will include a more accessible food pantry, a more welcoming waiting area, and an improved conference room and business office.
Our renovation project will result in temporary closure of our food pantry. Thanks to the Harrisburg Haverim Friends Donor Society, we have received funds toward gift cards to be used to help families in need. There are many in our community who could benefit from this type of gift. For more info or questions on how you can contribute in this way, please contact Elaine Strokoff.
