It was not surprising that Sam, raised with this legacy of philanthropy, automatically knew what he was going to do with the 4 tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers game that he won at a corporate meeting. He immediately texted his friend Steve Schauder, Executive Director of Jewish Family Service Of Greater Harrisburg, and asked if he had a family to donate the tickets to. With great power comes great responsibility.

As children return to in-person school, priority is placed on socio-emotional learning and support. Navigating the emotional health of our children is a priority for schools across America. The Silver Academy is no different. JFS has partnered with the Silver Academy to provide this meaningful and much needed service.
